The NCDLA Excellence in Distance Learning Teaching Award is awarded to Dr. Brett Cotton in recognition of his outstanding distance learning and online teaching, scholarly research, writing, and service. NCDLA Parks Todd Award

Awarded to: Dr. Diane Chapman
North Carolina State University

NCDLA presents the NCDLA Parks Todd Award for Distinguished Service to the Field of Distance Learning to Dr. Diane Chapman.

The Parks Todd Award was created to honor Mr. Parks Todd. Parks was a pioneer in the field of distance learning in North Carolina. His commitment to this work began in early 1987 when he was introduced to the statewide distance learning system - EDNET; the North Carolina Educational Network. Through years of public service in distance learning, Parks Todd symbolized innovation, commitment, and dedication to learning anywhere and anytime.
